How do we go about arranging meetings to discuss our wedding?
I am more than happy to arrange a face-to-face meeting to help you plan your day. Our first meeting may well be part of your complimentary food tasting, or you may prefer to meet in the first instance to discuss your ideas and to give me an opportunity to showcase our services. All food tastings take place at our main head office in Keynsham to fit in with our kitchen schedule. Depending on the time of year these may be at weekends or mid-week. For an initial meeting to discuss your day I am able to arrange these at a mutually suitable time. Depending on your location I can even visit you in the comfort of your own home, saving you the time of traveling to Keynsham. I'm also happy to offer 'teams' video meetings or phone calls if preferred.
How long should we allow for our initial meeting or food tasting?
I normally allow a 2 hour slot for a tasting This gives us enough time not only for you to sample our cuisine, but for me to showcase our services. A showcase meeting is normally between 1.5-2 hours depending on the detail discussed.
Do we have to pay a deposit to take advantage of the FREE tasting?
In one word... NO! At Strawberry Fields we think you should have the opportunity to 'try before you buy' so to speak. Most couples do take advantage of the complimentary tasting prior to securing our services. However, if you feel your happy to book before having your tasting then of course your first tasting is still FREE.
What details do we receive before booking?
When you initially enquire we will email you all the details we feel you need to get an overview of the service & menu's that we provide. At our first meeting I will discuss in detail our services and how we look after your day. From this meeting I will produce an initial itinerary and plan for the day. This will then be formulated and emailed to you with all the details discussed. This will also include initial costings based on our discussions.
How do we secure Strawberry Fields services for our day?
Once you have made the decision that you would like Strawberry Fields to cater and look after your wedding day, we require a booking deposit fee of £500.00 to secure our services along with the signing of our standard Terms & Conditions. Once this has been received we will reserve the kitchen time for your event and start allocating various elements for your day.
Will Strawberry Fields be available to cater our wedding?
As a company, Strawberry Fields can manage 3-5 events on any one day (depending on numbers). Once we have met I will always keep one eye on our diary to ensure if your date is getting popular your informed well before we get fully booked.
Will Lee be managing our day?
The simple answer is yes*... However to explain in a little more detail. Once I have met with yourselves I will assume as long as Strawberry Fields are available I will be available to manage your day. Regardless of the other events taking place on the same date, if you choose Strawberry Fields I will always revert to managing your day.
* The only exception to this would be if I have planned annual leave booked, in which case I look after you until your final meeting approximately 6-10 weeks prior to your event and then one of my colleagues will be introduced to you and will take over your event. All couples are notified at the time of booking if Lee will not be the manager on the day.
Once we've secured Strawberry Fields what support do we have?
Once our services are secure, you have total access to me to help you plan your day. I'm only ever a phone call or email away and pride myself with being prompt in responding to requests. However I do tend to leave my bride and grooms alone and do not bombard you with requests and emails. We don't require you to confirm any details until 2 weeks prior to your day, but you can of course confirm details at any time up until this date.

Do we have a final planning meeting?
This is totally your choice. Approximately 10-12 weeks prior to your wedding you will have a planning meeting with Kingscote Barn and I normally recommend we have a meeting after this to finalise your day. This can even be on the same day (diary dependant) as your Kingscote meeting and as with our initial meeting depending on preference can be a face-to-face meeting at our offices or a 'teams' meeting.
