Nobody really felt the presence of the catering team with the exception of Lee when announcements were being made which was lovely, a lot of our guests commented on the wonderful food and brilliant service. In fact a massive thank you for everything you did in the build up to the wedding day too. The food was incredible; we have received so many compliments from our guests about how sensational the wedding breakfast was as well as the quirky idea of carving at the table, which added a real social element to the wedding. Not forgetting to send compliments to the chefs. The team worked tirelessly on the day, making sure drinks and canapés were distributed around everybody including ourselves during the photographs, they acted promptly to keep drinks topped up and both drink and canapés were plentiful throughout our reception. The team were highly professional yet blended into our wedding so please pass on our gratitude to the whole team. The attention to presentation and added details didn’t go unnoticed either; the team projected such professionalism, confidence, and overall were very accommodating. Over two years ago, we took a leap of faith and secured Strawberry Fields as our caterer after receiving a leaflet at Kingscote Barn. Out of all the options, you stood out to us and we are so glad you did. From the very first moment we reached out, your communication, support, and advice were second to none. You always picked up the phone, replied to emails so quickly, and guided us patiently from day one. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and your flexibility and care meant the world to us. Our food tasting was such a memorable experience. You made us feel instantly relaxed and comfortable, and the food itself was incredible. We left not only excited about the menu but also reassured about how smoothly the day would run under your guidance. Then came the wedding day. We thought you couldn’t possibly top all the help and support you’d given us in the lead up, but you did. You exceeded every expectation we had. The entire day was seamless, perfectly managed, and completely stress-free, and that’s down to you. Your knowledge, patience, professionalism, and people skills are invaluable. You and the team at Strawberry Fields truly made our dream day possible, and we’ll forever be grateful. And the food… where do we even begin? From the canapés to the wedding breakfast to the evening food, everything was perfect. Guests are still raving about it, many (pretty much all of guests) saying it was the best wedding food they’ve ever had. The trio of desserts was a huge hit, and the pork was the ultimate showstopper, simply unforgettable. Thank you also for being so accommodating with allergies and dietary preferences. Everyone felt included and looked after. The buffet style table serving really got people talking and mingling, and the drinks service was flawless throughout. We honestly could go on and on about you, your team, and your food. For now, we just want to say how incredibly grateful we are for everything you did for us.
